A slice of Chicago

@ Chicago Pizza Kitchen - Keele and Major Mackenzie, Toronto

Reviving fond Chicago memories with delicious deep dish pizza (notice the sea salt?) and potato wedges (lathered with all things heavenly).

Michael and I wanted to find something different for lunch so we put my iPhone yelp app to good use. This place had rave reviews and definitely lived up to it.

We ordered the Stuffed House Combination Pizza which has Pepperoni, Salami, Mushrooms, Olives, Onions and Green Peppers... yum!Since we were amazingly hungry, and the deep dish pizza takes a good 20-25 minutes to make, we ordered some potato wedges, which are nothing to write home about. Their appetizer selection lacks on variety but will get you through the wait. Alternatively, they also have thin crust pizza - but then you are just completely missing out!

The place is tucked away in a plaza and pleasantly decorated with old-school things. You can see the entire family working away in the restaurant on the weekend.

Next time, I'm ditching Pizza Pizza, and coming here :)
